I'm very interested in a position as an Internal Sales Engineer opening at Google. However, I'm not sure how much and for how long I should prepare for it. Someone told me that I should just polish a bit on my data structures, algorithms, and Leetcode and that'll be enough (3 weeks). A friend of mine tells me to join a technical interview bootcamp and also get to an Advanced level at Leetcode (6 months), and only then I might be able to think about interviewing for Google... Any suggestions?
I did some googling on the interview process and I’m still unsure of how it’ll go. So, I’ll compromise and meet in the middle: I’ll prepare as if I were going to interview for a regular developer role but apply sooner, maybe within 2 months. I know that if I don’t apply soon I’ll get too comfortable now and will not be thinking about a move within the next few years.
