Hi guys I got job offer from intel Im google contractor through CBRE. If tc is same, should I go intel #intel #semiconductor
Layoffs incoming..
CBRE mught be same too? Recessions are for everyone
It's your life
You should go, don’t live life in fear
I would check with hiring manager to make sure the position will not be cut. Intel has been a working on a turnaround since our new CEO was hired in 2021. The plan has always been to restore competitiveness by 2025. I’d be more worried about being in a contract role in tech right now. Contractors are easy to let go. Obviously, if hiring manager is cagey, don’t come. But it would be nuts to hire and immediately fire someone. They would have just shut the req.
Contract jobs are more at risk than FT
If you’ve received offer you’re safe to join intel. You can check with hiring manager but as far as I know you’re safe.
Why is this even a question? Full-time jobs are better than contractor jobs...
When does your contract end. If you got laid how har would it be to get a new contract job
Last in 1st out. Green badge always first
For blue badges it hasn’t historically been LIFO. It’s been based on performance as well as org.
Haven’t you heard? All INTC OR, CA, Ireland, NM fabs will be closed and consolidated at 4 fabs in OH
Is intels job full time or contact
Full time
When does your contract end and how easy is it to get a new one
Layoffs incoming..
