Job search: H4 Ead and no previous work ex
Will be applying H4 ead for spouse. She is completing bachelor's degree in Computer science from India and will move to US right after final yr. How hard is it to find a job on h4 ead. Do employees discriminate between OPT and H4EAD.
They don’t care so long as you have current work authorization. She can even say she has work authorization for any employer, and just leave it at that. Although H4EAD has a very high chance of being rescinded before the end of the year. So they might treat it as no auth and unlikely to receive any (h1b lottery is far from guaranteed).

No they usually clarify this at the initial phone stage and end the process there if it’s not suitable. Offers are contingent on having work authorization though, so if her auth doesn’t come through/gets rescinded, the offer would also be rescinded.
Companies usually ask you to fill in a questionnaire before you interview, in there they will ask about your immigration status.
Dude you have to try, what else is your plan B ? Yes no experience and H4 ead is a disadvantage, not impossible. You are a lot away from that stage. First she has to finish her studies, move here and then apply for H4 ead if it is still around and then wait for 3-4 months to get it.
Difficult to get interviewed with H4 EAD. I know someone who is a great leetcoder, struggling to find a job. They back off or put on hold immediately after knowing the Visa status.
Ask the spouse to do a MS. That's the best way to get some credibility.
