I was searching for jobs at Top tech companies in NYC that uses Java. Very limited option? Or is it me who did not search properly?
Java is dead is a joke. If I search in CA Seattle I will have tons of options. nYC also has tons of options just that I am eyeing big tech companies
Don’t be fixated on the programming language. Just apply to interesting position and learn new languages if needed.
Bad advise. You'll be building backend, web, games, any thing you can think of in JavaScript 😭
Big tech doesn't really filter based on languages. Google uses a lot of Java but you probably wouldn't find it advertised anywhere. You're just supposed to pick up whatever tool you need.
Why not go for Hedge Fund / HFT?
Don't like HF. Want to work in top tech companies
Java is dead that’s why. Better start learning python
Not true. It’s just not as popular as before.
I’m not a Java guy, but lolwhat?
