Joining Facebook Oculus Team bootcamp

I have an offer from Facebook with the opportunity to start with Facebook 6 week bootcamp where I get to try out different teams and then choose a team. I am really interested in VR/AR and Oculus. How easy is it to get a job in this area as a software engineer. I have some Android open source platform experience and hardware experience. Are these just as easy as applying to the team? What if I don't find a team with the right fit? #facebook Offer total comp: $273,000 (not including sign on) Base: 167,000 Stock:360,000 over four years Sign on: 75,000 Bonus: 10% Yeo: 3.5

Watching, how diff is it for managers/principals?

How is that $350k? No one counts sign on into your tc. Some split it over 4 years but most just don’t count it

I think it depends on how long you stay at a company...average 2-3 yrs on average

So oculus teams participate in the bootcamp process? I’ve gotten mixed messages on this from recruiters. They also seem to have separate job listings
