At 25 my TC could have been 300k but here I am.
But at the end, who cares. You made it. Congrats
Feeling a little undervalued though lol
And that’s fine. That’s your mind telling yourself not to be complacent and that you want more. Do what you have to do to get more. You’re doing great
Yoe?
Congratulations! Best of luck with your new role. TC: 105K
Poor baby, make sure to look up local soup kitchens and consider starting a GoFundMe to support yourself as you struggle through such unimaginably hard times. tc: 64k
I see your 64k TC and raise it tc: 60k
Holy shit. I’m a security analyst with no CS degree. Why so low for you?
At 25 you have a lot of runway to grow. Work hard, live the principles and try to deliver like the L5s.
I started roughly 4 years late though. That's a lot of lost money :(
You are "roughly" alive. That's a lot of (hopefully good) future experiences. Don't focus on money. You were not entitled anything at all, especially not a corporate job slaving away for kpis 🤮. Is that how low you value your life? You coudve died, fallen sick, gotten addicted, never graduated, etc. You work to live not live to work. Understand this sooner than later
Ah I was a 33 year old l4 so hmm no shame. The only thing is Amazon is a very level based company. If a l4 says something vs L7 says the same. Everyone will be like oh l7 is right and ignore the l4. Any ways I was stuck here due to immigration bs. Will be moving soon. Amazon is pretty trashy anyways😂
Better than the peanut farm
don't feel bad OP. I joined Amazon L4 at 27 with 4 yoe. Felt undervalued at the time and would have been nice to earn more but ultimately you still make a lot
