Leetcode.

Microsoft IronMan_ Apr 5, 2019

Leetcode, get competing offers..work for an year..and repeat for two times..there you are..

It’s possible if you either have PhD and work on something which industry badly needs or have 5+ years of extensive industry experience. Of course you should be able to crack any hard leetcode within minutes + competing offers.

Honestly, if you forget about arrays, you are not 500k material. Doesn’t mean you won’t get there later in your career. Aim for a job you can grow and things would take care of themselves.

Started Leetcode one month ago. Started with Array. By the time got to Trees started forgetting Array. Is it common? Is rinse n repeat the way out?

Rinse and repeat. Start interviewing with companies that you wouldn’t want to work at. For practice. You will be ready soon.

Get competing E5 offers from Google and Facebook. Should be very doable. And then hope that stock will double. You will get around 350k TC first year and 500k third year. If you are really good target E6.

Get a job that's pays 500k per year. That should take care of it

I think everyone will agree with me. The blind community has the answer for you. Do the needful.

Avg engineer != 500k.

Tesla bICb68 Apr 6, 2019

Nobody wants to be an average engineer.

Fellow ex-SAP here. Don't worry. With practice you can crack interviews. Just leetcode and read up on system design. Within few week, was able to get an offer with >50% increase in TC. Unfortunately in my case, I was laid off so had to be motivated to study lol
