Jump trading vs citadel securities
Considering two swe offers from Jump and citadel securities. Heard good things about Jump and heard that tc progression internally is better at Jump than citadel. what exactly does jump core team do? How does differ from trading teams? Any insight for Jump core team’s culture, wlb, tech, career growth is appreciated. Offer: Jump 200k + 100 signing Citadel securities 250k + 100 signing YOE: new grad + internships

On site at Citadel long time ago. The first question they asked, "Can you work long hours? People here work at least 80 hours a week."
Wlb is not as bad as blind portraits from what I can see

Idk about jump, but if you’re on a good team at citadel and you deliver results, comp can progress nicely
Jump hr and some posts on blind were saying the same about Jump. “If you are good” is a very vague statement
Of course it’s vague :) I guess the moral of the story is that if you’re “good”, you’ll have a very successful career either place.

It took Jump 2.5 months to respond to me after a successful onsite, so you might need some patience. Patience might be the name of the game. In my case, HR at least was relatively responsive
Did you not follow up during this 2.5 months time? Were offer numbers worth the patience?
Did you end up choosing securities?
Which did you end up choosing and why? also did you intern at one of these places?
