I have never asked for professional guidance on investing and most of it is just through whatever I've read online. Wanted to know what the blind family thinks about my investment portfolio. I've about 50k saved in cash in a high yield discover savings account. Every 2 weeks I invest: 25$ in qqqm 500$ voo 350$ vxus 150$ bnd 400$ apple 250$ wealthfront app On a weekly basis: 100$ schd 250$ vgt 200$ vnq I Max out my 401k, 67% in vanguard target 2055 and remaining in vang inst 500 idx. I'm thinking about making it 50-50 each. Nw: 800k Tc: 300k Does this seem like a reasonable distribution or would you change it in anyway? Thanks! #investments #personalfinance
Here’s a quote from Warren Buffet taken from his 2013 letter to his shareholders: My money, I should add, is where my mouth is: What I advise here is essentially identical to certain instructions I’ve laid in my will. One bequest provides that cash will be delivered to a trustee for my wife’s benefit. (I have to use cash for individual bequests, because all of my Berkshire shares will be fully distributed to certain philanthropic organizations over the ten years following the closing of my estate.) My advice to the trustee could not be more simple: Put 10% of the cash in short-term government bonds and 90% in a very low-cost S&P 500 index fund. (I suggest Vanguard’s.) I believe the trust’s long-term results from this policy will be superior to those attained by most investors—whether pension funds, institutions, or individuals—who employ high-fee managers
A good place to ask is on Bogleheads.org
which trading platform is suggested for long term investing? I have Robinhood looking for others opinions
I use fidelity for everything. 401k, IRA, Brokerage, HSA, and 529. I also use the fidelity credit card to get 2% cash back that goes to my brokerage.

Seems like a lot of $AAPL. Besides that it’s fine. $VOO and $QQQM already have a good chunk in $AAPL. To concentrate even more there by so much money seems excessive.
Thanks for the feedback! I've added my 401k investment split as well, could you take a look at that and share your thoughts as well. Thanks in advance!
I don’t like target date funds but that’s because I don’t like bonds. I have enough of a risk tolerance that I’m all in ETFs and mutual funds of stocks. But target date funds aren’t bad. They are just a slightly higher fee (not by much) and diversify to bonds and other assets for you.
