The weirdest thing happened today. I shattered my iPhone’s back glass and went in to get a replacement repair ( which was close to $600 btw). Anyway, the Apple guy did not ask for my device and when I tried to have it over he didn’t get it. So I walked out of the store with 2 phones. The last time I did this with an iPhone 6 I remember I had to turn over the broken device. Is this an error by the Apple store, or I just get to keep it?
Shit happens, looks like he might have forgotten, or was new. I wouldn’t think much of it.
So go back and ask for another replacement. If they take it this time then the first was a mistake :)
Turns out it was a mistake, and probably the guy taking care of me at the Apple store would’ve been in trouble (and probably myself). Now I have to go to any Apple store and turn it in. I should’ve asked harder when I was still there...
I can understand that it’s trouble for the store guy but why it is trouble for u ?
If someone at the Apple Store decided I took the device home on purpose, they could’ve reported it stolen. I think that qualifies for trouble for me as they have all my details on record.
You think they won't know if you try to bring it in again?
Error. Will he reported as stolen soon.
They won’t even call me??
