Came across this house in Kirkland. I wonder why it is listed at a reduced price. Typically, houses of that size are listed at a much higher price, i thought. Looking at the history, this house is sold within a year at loss. Has anyone seen this in person? https://www.redfin.com/WA/Kirkland/11056-108th-Pl-NE-98033/home/461585
It’s sold for 1.3 when the interest were low a year ago. Seems reasonable
Seriously 😂 Who buys this crap
Would rather buy this for 2m https://redf.in/ew76YI
Even rents have reduced like anything. I had a budget of around 2k rent for 1bhk apartment, I got a huge huge 2bhk with parking, 2 patio with seeview in that price that too at a location of my choice in Kirkland.. and even I got so many choices. It's insane.
Thank JPow cleaning up both Trump’s n Biden’s mess
Where? I would move if I find a good place under 2.5k rent. My apartment has been increasing the rent every year.
This is very, very close to the house I live in, which sold for $1.3 million 3 years ago. This one seems more recently but probably lacks the lake view that mine has. I'm a little surprised it's this low, but maybe the market has changed since I last paid attention.
Location location location: no view + “bad” school district (compared to BSD & better part of LWSD)
You clearly don't know this area. The house is in the Lake Washington School District(LWSD). It is close to the Juanita Beach, which means a good location. And sure, it is not in the best location in Kirkland, and that is why this house is listed at 1.2, instead of 1.8
Did not notice that Juanita high is also part of LWSD, oh kind sir you’re very right, I’ll do one thing: kindly do the needful and revert back.
Lol. Its worth only 700k

Read the question again
I’ve been to this place when it was listed last and I think I know why this doesn’t sell. But folks who have been in the market, where/how do you find houses which won’t sell?
What's the reason? I haven't looked at this property and wondered why it didn't sell. I am really curious to know!
DM me? I just DMed OP for the answer
Probably a couple of reasons: 1. Seller wants to attract more buyers and start a bidding war. 2. The lot size is 5,716 sq ft, which isn’t exactly huge for Kirkland.

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
It's a strategy to attract bidders and induce a price war. I've seen some properties listed for 50k only to ultimately sell for close the fmv at 1.8m
Nope! This is north kirkland house. It's about 50% lower in price than South kirkland like Houghton. It's a different set of schools too. Juanita high is very low ranked high school. These houses are normally cheaper than houses in anywhere else in BRK
Juanita high is low rated?
