Kellogg business school is accepting laid off employees to apply for full time MBA without GMAT score . Might be a good opportunity for non-resident employees to buy two years time to stay in country, and hopefully upgrade to solid job and higher comp after graduating. https://www.google.com/amp/s/finance.yahoo.com/amphtml/news/attention-laid-off-tech-workers-015741168.html
Not a great sign for MBAs or at least Kellogg. what's next black Friday sale on MBA? The jig is up, MBA = High paying managerial role is OVER.
Maybe, but it sure beats the alternative option of packing up and moving to home country
agree!
😳😳😳😳
Pay ransom to a university to live in a country that's not accepting them. Why not?
Ok drama queen
They’re getting desperate
Are they? They get top tier talent that normally would not take an MBA right now , most of them will pay $$$ for their MBA . How is this desperate for Kellogg??
Top tier talent doesn’t get laid off. If X company lays of 13% of staff, those are usually the bottom 13% performers. We’ve interviewed a couple folks that have been laid off in the past 6 months as well as people at the same startup / team that were still working there. Huge difference in caliber.
Kellogg is honestly not that great
Seriously, I ate them for breakfast
To each their own opinion, but atleast gives folks an option
Nice, pumping their applicant volume to decrease their acceptance rate.
It's a trap
