I got laid off from Meta today and I’m gonna start looking for a new position, other than leetcode any resources that you recommend for interview prep? What companies have remote positions? SWE, Backend, App development, MI
Ouch! Sorry to hear that! Ads and Kuiper in amazon
I recommend achieving a better performance rating to avoid being on the layoff list Meta and Twitter are bloated and compensation didn’t align with actual value
How relevant is your answer to the question?
I recommend that you improve your skills, so that you don’t have to work for tier-3 companies like GE.
Send me a DM Nexient is in Michigan, Fully remote. You might take a pay cut but if u need a job who cares
You’re not going to learn your lesson? Just work for a local company, why are you again chasing a remote job
☝️ boomer koolaid drinker here
I worked for OG Dropbox back in 2010. Back when we had an amazing culture and vision for the company. Call me a boomer or call me fucking rich. Dropbox is now a dead, remote company, and it hurts.
I’m so sorry. Being laid off sucks. Remember that it’s not your fault.
Remote shouldn’t be a priority right now dost !
Agreed, don’t really care about it much but I’m prefer remote if I have that option
Zillow is still remote and aggressively hiring, DM if interested
Interesting. Wonder if the Redfin layoffs today will have an impact.
Nah, Redfin had layoffs because they shut down their iBuyer business which we already did nearly a year ago. If anything, Z’s decision to stop buying iBuying last year was smart AF given that Opendoor is getting crushed right now and Redfin just closed their own business.

For frontend, bfe.dev was really helpful for JS domain knowledge. Also, the tech interview handbook was helpful too.
