In such situations, the only thing that matters is what side of the business you find yourself in. Yoe and years at the company are irrelevant.
Living under the rock? No one is immune to layoffs.
Sorry, I hope you get another job soon. Don't blame yourself, it's not your fault. anybody would have made that move.

There's tons of resources out there. Start with search on YouTube. It helps if you've already worked on such systems before

There's no standard way for it. Usually it goes like this 1. Low performers 2. New hires 3. People working in non profitable/stagnant orgs 4. Random
