Last year of OPT , Goldman Sachs, Fragomen
Hey All, I got a positive feed back on my interview and before I get and receive the offer letter Goldman Sachs wants me to talk to Fragomen, on confirming my visa status. Email says “ summarize options on employment with GS before I receive and accept offer” My opt Ends in May 2023 This is my last H1B attempt I was planning on asking to move to other country or if Day1 CPT options once I’m in the firm and when it is time. But my concern is does it cause any red flags ? If everything goes well I am planning on mid July early august start. I am unsure if my last year OPT will cause any issues to the offer and it was hard to get interviews as well few companies dint consider interviews since I have only one H1B lottery left. Are you interviewing as an associate or VP? They can apply for your green card next year if you’re at least an associate in engineering. See what suggestions Fragomen has first. You can say you are open to relocating.

AFAIK, they ask for Atleast 18 months left on STEM OPT. Not sure if the rules changed now with multiple lotteries every year.
