I've been reading a lot about the layoffs at multiple tech companies. Will this scenario in any way affect employees at JPMC? TC: 80k
Start attending share holder meetings and youâll find out
You donât need to attend them - just read the transcripts
Just look at how long your company name is. And you wonder why? Everytime the name become longer & longer, more finance workers were laid off
Good observation
Mergers only happen during the rock bottoms, when âitâs too big to failâ
Nope they got the $$$$$
Exactly! Like have you seen the earnings from Q3? We always have cash and lot if attrition this year
Jpmc has been laying off in its mortgage division for some time now
Well yeah, mortgage rates are >7% in US
They donât need to do layoffs as people are already leaving
Not before bonus is securedđ
Doesnât matter. Companies are providing insane amount of joining bonuses.
Our ED has announced that the technology budget compared to last year didn't shrink. And there is a healthy capital reserve at tech level which they could tap into if there's a fund crunch. So no layoffs at least for a year in technology.
Makes sense. I mean we had so many developers leave for big tech this year. They are hiring now
We are still hiring like crazy and tapping into Twitter and Meta recent departures.
Had the horrible experience of my life with one of the recruiters from jpmc and literally had to decline the offer. I love to work for the company but I wish the company really hires some good supportive recruiters.
Same. My exp with the JPMC recruiter was the worse Iâve ever had. But I decided to join anyway and fortunately my team is cool so it made up for the terrible recruiting exp
GTI is hiring 2000 engineers more, cloud migration in full swing still
Yep, been working on that
Which cloud ? AWS ?
People voluntarily leave in my department lol, so I donât think there is a big layoff going on
Hello, would you be willing to provide a referral for a management position with JPMC?

Interested to learn. No layoff heard in India
No way they will ever layoff in India. They are getting great value out of you since you get peanuts
It has been happening all these years and will also happen in February but only for VP+.
