Creating a poll to get a sense of what people think would happen to EV companies like Rivian, Lucid, Nordstrom, Tesla that have hired a lot of people in the last 2-3 years.
Nordstrom??? For tesla no, their demands too high to fail. For the rest, if they can’t sell then yes layoff incoming
There are no layoffs from TSLA Rivian and Lucid in the near future since they all have high demand for now. It's hard to say in 2024.
High demand only means you need people in the factory. Hundreds of engineer knobs, marketing snobs, recruiting dummies, finance assholes, designer brats can very well be laid off with no effect on immediate sales.
How about those indirect procurement people, headlights?
Already happened
That bad over there?
Now you other options are GM, Rivian, and Tesla. Which probably pay 🥜
Too much volume and demand at this time.
I wish Tesla would have a layoff so I can finally find some damn parking. But no they are mass hiring every week.
No layoffs for sure. All ev companies are on hiring spree.
Rivian has very good RSU refreshers. Another post said it was around ~25% It is a very good sign that Rivian tried to keep the talents.
Which dumb person told you this ?
2 vacancies currently in my team (eng), plus looking for interns
Nordstrom makes EVs? How do I apply?
Where’s the option No, hiring increasing?
Ah forgot to add that one. Can't edit the polls now.
