Layoffs fintech SaaS unicorn

I got fired as manager couldn’t fight for me with leadership team. The reason they told me was that they couldn’t allocate work to me for the salary I have been paid for. They are burning so much funding in team lunches, inter state offsite trips with more than 100 people a time, parties at 5 star hotels, but laying off employees due to cost cutting and other stupid reasons. My manager is the main culprit here as he unable to cater work properly to team and I have been allocated so less work though I was asking for work for 6 months. And no chance given to me to speak with my manager for 6 months about my work allocation and performance. Due to that type of stupid useless product managers we get fired. With only few years of work experience it’s getting so hard to find jobs outside. IT work culture and future of being in IT industry sucks. Product management sucks at this company.
