Just got offered a position at Netapp for their cloud team. Anyone has any idea on how is the Culture of layoffs in Netapp? A lot of glass door reviews seem to indicate that theirs frequent layoffs, but Netapp cloud team seems to be hiring a lot. Can someone shed some light on how the layoffs culture is at Netapp?
goto thelayoff.com and read some good threads. I won't recommend NetApp
Company wide layoffs used to happen a lot, few years back, but not now. Pre-pandemic, we could still hear a team or two being dissolved, but that was rare, like once a year or so. But in general, the leadership has changed for the better in this aspect. Also IMO the company is lean now and with pandemic attrition going on and hiring becoming tougher, I don't think layoffs are a concern. But of course, no one can guarantee anything.
How is the cloud team? I’ve seen they have made some acquisitions and seem to be wanting to expand in the public cloud space.
