They blow all their money on woke remakes of LOTR instead.
Woke panic is so last year.
I'd be panicking if the big show is basically seen as a cash grab for woke politics. Not exactly easy to sell additional views or merch when people find it cringy
A bagel split to two? Wot?
If they can make their drivers pee in a bottle, they can make you split bagels too
Where do you want those drivers to pee? Should they install a toilet in the van?
Apple congrats you’ve successfully passed the Amazon Leadership Interview
Clearly these people were not SDEs
Not a lie, I attended some conference this week for amazon. I had to sit on the ground and the lunch was trash. They had some cold meat breakfast with a 500 people queue
This is true. Amazon has a yearly conference and it's very frugal. Think reInvent for internal tech, but because it's internal only, it cheap as fuck
Great example on how Amazon strive to be Earth's best employer
I didn't know they gave away bagels. Is that next to the banana cart? 🤔
🤯
Sometimes I wonder why they make us pay for ten dollars just to get food in the cafeteria - it’s like do you really need that? or pay for parking in a garage they own………… I think basic needs for employees, you shouldn’t be frugal about.
I've had a buddy stop coming into work when they asked for $50/day for parking. Ended up getting it comped and a parking pass issued to him so he didn't have to pay anymore.
Splitting one bagel between two people? You must be kidding me? I understand frugality from pov of hustling to do more with less but does employee experience ever factors into these fuckers decision making?
No they don't care about employees. They'd remove toilets and replace with shit buckets if it was lawful.
