I just wanted to know, how many LC hards can, one solve without looking at the solution ?#tech So far I solved around 10-20 questions, the other 20-30, I just looked at the solution. Total around 40-50 , I solved. But I am worried, what if they ask some LC hard that, I don't know . Share your tips and tricks guys. Thanks. P.S LC mediums , yes I can come up with a working solution in 20-30 mins.
What’s with everyone caring about number of problems. How about you focus on topics. Leetcode has about 40 different topics. Once you master each topic then you don’t need to worry about number of questions. The number of questions is a horrible way of looking at your readiness for an interview. Go ahead solve all two sum problems and that’s about 5 or 6 problems that won’t really help you unless you learn the tricks that are used to solve those questions.
Is there a list of all those topics? Or is that just the category?
The categories is a good start but the tags are the real deal. DFS and BFS comprise of 40 percent of leetcode, if not more. Master those and you have around half the problems down. Who cares about the number.
Some easys/mediums nowadays are harder than real hard.
I increasingly find myself getting stuck in new medium level questions. I also observed that Hard questions are usually a mix of strategies used in two or more medium questions
New medium questions seem more like hards half the time. I am just getting back in the interview loops so I'm not sure if this just applies to online practice problems or interview questions are raising the bar as well.
I think it's both. Bar getting higher with everyone racing over Leetcode and new practice problems usually needing a little calibration before they're accurately tagged.
