What level (easy, medium, hard) of leetcode questions do you generally see in google / Facebook interviews and expected to finish off within 45 mins?
How many questions per 45 minutes
At least 3 leetcode hard per 45 mins
Sure. Then n^3 solutions to all of them.
who is giving you 45 mins? 40 mins at most.
Who needs 40? 10 is more than enough
Who needs 10? 4 is more than enough
For phone call apparently FB asks medium, and if solved they ask hard. For Google phone call was easy but too many follow up questions and I had 4 medium and 1 hard question on site I know the level because I added those questions on leetcode. I was asked to Design Google docs as well.
Did you get the job?
What a boss
Instead of leetcode "hard" or "medium", a more relevant measure of difficulty should be how common the problem is. For example, a "merge k sorted lists" or "LRU cache" are so common these days that they should be at most "medium" level. For those problems I expect a reasonable candidate to be able to code these bug free in less than fifteen mins. Some of my friends had trouble getting offers from Google not because problems were hard but because they were new.
I think first 100 questions are obsolete
@bduh378 They are still asked...just as "warm up" questions.
I was asked a leetcode hard question in my interview and I had 25 minutes... Stressful but fun :)
For google I had ~4 leetcode hard, 3 medium
For new grad? How the fuck do people get offers?
Practice and more practice haha 😂
