I left Adobe in August, my boss told me to just keep my phone (the exit procedure let's you keep your phone if your boss let's you). I figure Verizon would deactivate it, so I just turned it off and threw it in my drawer as an emergency back up if I wanted to throw in a new sim card or something. However 5 months later I turned on to retrieve an old text message and lo and behold it still has full data and network functionality. Seems like they never deactivated it. My current mobile hotspot situation has been dicey (reception wise). While the Verizon account is active, was thinking of just using this purely as a mobile hotspot until they turn it off. Wise? Stupid? You tell me.
Go ahead and use it, and be prepared to pay the bill if asked?
