What's something on your mind that's not in regards to work, money or gossip? I'll start: I've been think about having kids. Getting a gym membership. Going camping. A million little things that ultimately mean more than the impossible to control or predict maelstrom that is the tech industry. It's amazing how much of it is get it, make bank and get the hell out of it before it crashes. Working in tech feels like investing your career in the stock market. Maybe more crypto these days. Lots of up side and volatile as a hairdryer in a bathtub. ❤
I got a kayak recently. I can't wait to go to some lakes and try it out! Really looking to the summer and camping trips.
I am worried if i would find nanny for my twins :(
Missing my best friend, my partner (LDR). Ready to be closer. Thinking of canceling the gym membership I have and utilizing the one I can go to for free.. I won't have my personal trainer there, but am thinking maybe I don't really need that right now. Would love to go on a camping trip, just a little weekend getaway to really disconnect. I want to eat at restaurants less after seeing how much I've spent at them these last few months. Hoping my kiddo loves the summer camps I've lined up for her.
I'm wondering if Mrs Nutella #4 will actually go through with getting us a 2nd wife or not. Fingers crossed!!
I switched to an open marriage after 15 years and it has been great. Wife is much happier too.
her #?
I've been having the really weird/curious thoughts about being with another man.. lol. been with plenty of girls and I love seeing a beautiful woman out and about, but I'm just super curious about having sex with a dude..
thinking about playing a sport on the weekends. anyone know any soccer or basketball leagues for adults in the bay area?
This. So hard to find.
Trying to figure out places to visit in Germany when I fly out with the boyfriend for CitizenCon. That and trying to decide if I want to make chocolate eclairs or mocha truffle bars....
I also think about having a kid, but like you said: the industry is so unpredictable. Having a kid is like banking on the industry doing well for the next 18 years. As much as I wish having a kid was merely a personal choice, at the end of the day, it's still influenced by work.

Crossed a line with my boss
Trying to decide if it's worth trading my late 20s for a comfortable rest of my life or if I should travel for the next few years and enjoy my youth 🤔
Enjoy your youth. One thing I realized is I'm never getting it back. All that travel I said I'd do when I'm older is infinitely harder because of family responsibilities and/or physical condition.
we can already comfortably take 5 weeks of paid vacation per year. ask for an extra 3 to 4 weeks of unpaid vacation? Edit: unless you meant travelling full time.
