I moved from Berkeley to mountain view and my renter's insurance premium dropped by half. My roommate in college got robbed at gunpoint a block from campus. Berkeley is a shithole.
It’s really nice if you have a lot of money and a big house! Helps to come from a wealthy family and a nice fat portfolio of assets to sit on while you read books about activism
