Likely focus but had Q3 promo
Manager hinted I’m bottom L5 on team and NI bucket. I promoted around 12mo and now wish I stayed as L4 where I’d probably be HV3/TT. There was another L5 that was pipped so makes sense I’m lowest as other L5 are about 4 years at Amazon and chasing L6. I thought new promo was safe. I don’t feel my work ethic or ability to perform has dropped since promotion. From high praise and fast promo to needs improvement 😪 Ads
Just focus on getting better, you might be marked low but you have a good narrative to come out of it. “He had a bit of a slow start at L5 but then improved” vs “yeah he was here a few years as an L5 the whole time and all of a sudden was bad”
