What LinkedIn networking hacks have worked for you whether it's been for your job search or for getting connected to folks to pitch? #consulting
I have found that Premium can be helpful when you are doing a job search. You get more messages and better insight into salary bands. Can cancel it after you make the job change.
I heard this as well. Recruiters reach out way more if you have premium
That's interesting. I tried Premium only for sometime and didn't notice much of a change. I'll give it a shot again.
Not a crazy hack but I find that it’s easier to get people to respond to your msg if you have something in common like you went to the same school or have a common friend etc
What do you suggest if you don’t have something common like this. Find I get ignored if no common topics
I have found more success using the same approach.
Using the shit out of the search function. Getting out of the Army, I would search “Army consulting Deloitte” or “veteran McKinsey” and then now I have a list of 100’s of people with something in common in an industry I wanted to work in.
Interesting will try
