What’s the LinkedIn on-site pass rate for Senior SDE, roughly?
I’d imagine almost all companies at LI’s level or above would be <10% tbh
Keep in mind, this is conditional on making it to the onsite round. I read anecdotally at Google for instance that it’s somewhere between 10 and 20% in past years. Additionally, this might inflate some at this point in time due to a hot job market. /shrugs
Honest question; why would anyone want to work at LinkedIn?
LinkedIn offers good pay, heard good things about culture/wlb and some orgs have pretty interesting work. Seems like a great place to work
You mean Amazon? lol
If you made it all the way to on-site your chances of clearing it are much higher than 10%. At least 1/4 and more likely 1/3.
Nope 👎🏻
If you guys are failing more than 1/4 of your onsite candidates your interview process is shit and you really need to raise the bar in your screenings. An onsite should be arranged only for a candidate that is very likely to be hired. Stop wasting engineer's time.
Do they dev with Mac or windows
MBP + Linux Tower
Had an on-site at LinkedIn recently.. they gave me a bunch of excuses on my interview so be prepared for some bs
What do you mean?
As an example in my coding assessment they asked me the same question in my technician screening so as I was solving it my feedback was I had to be given a lot of hints to solve it. When the lady hardly opened her mouth once to explain any coding mistakes or problems so at that point I knew they were making up stuff like they were just going through the motions
