Yoe 14 years I have done interviews for Amazon SDE3 L6 and Uber SSE 2 5b,both look positive, awaiting results. I am getting referral for LinkedIn for staff engineer. He is saying it's staff for less than 15 yoe. Should not it be senior staff engineer? Current TC ~ 100K Location Bangalore
LinkedIn folks are super curious about your previous Org. If it's not amzn msft Google they will for sure downlevel you a bit. The engineering folks are really great in LI, but the recruiters are high headed. Do let us know the offers you get from Uber and Amzn

My salary is not at par. Most 8-10 yoe get this TC 60-80lpa. I hope to correct it now
Staff at LinkedIn is a really broad band. They are staffs with 4yoe (best case, joined LinkedIn straight out of college) to 15yoe who are committee leads and architect for reasonably large size projects. I don't honestly think the are down leveling you, breaking it directly into senior staff is really hard

Coding, lld, hld, architecture (2 rounds), hiring manager round. Design and architecture round were medium difficulty, I have relevant experience, was able to discuss well. I had to prepare mostly for behavioral questions for hm round, and it paid off.
