How good is the secrecy of LinkedIn’s “open to exploring job” button after you use LinkedIn’s block your company from viewing this? Does this really work? Or your employer somehow gets to know about it? Anybody with negative experience on this?
Probably doesn't stop someone from outside your company who knows your manager from ratting you out.
I changed my settings to Open To Jobs and a week later my employer visited my profile (for the first time) on the same day that we discussed that we might need to hire another developer... 😂 I guess I was a perfect fit!!!
I haven't even opted for 'open to exploring' but I still get mesages from Microsoft recruiters as well.. Don't worry most of the times recruiting teams are so disconnected with engg teams! And I believe ' open to' visible only to recruiters right?
Just get ready to get spammed by tcs Infosys and thousands of other fake companies with fake job reqs
