Linkedin Hiring Freeze (SWE) @ NYC
Is there anyone else over here who had cleared Hiring Committe at Linkedin for SWE but was told that there is no headcount? Did you finally get team matched later or are you still waiting? Its been over a couple of months for me, since clearing HC and there hasnt been any progress. TC- $160k
check with your recruiter constantly. There should have been more headcounts since August, but NYC may have less, I am not sure.
Is there a hiring freeze in the Bay Area too? Recruiters seem to be less reachable compared to a few months back
I don’t think OP is talking about hiring freeze. It was a very low headcount scene at L a couple of month back, so if there are a backlog of people who passed HC, recruiters will be less actively looking for candidates
Possibly? Hiring process is backlogged, but not much detailed beyond that.
