Got the following verbal offer from Li India: Base:35(Including PF) Stocks: 81k $. -> 100k now Perf:10% JB:5 Total:58.5 L -> 62 now Pros: 1. Better comp 2. WLB 3. Product company 4. Bangalore location 5. Better remote policy 6. MS stocks Upside 7. Higher comp in first 2 years due to diff vest schedule for unvested ms stocks.(~61 tc for 1st tear at current stock price) Cons: 1. Poor hike/refreshers ? Competing Offer: DESHAW Base:40 Perf Bonus:8-12 JB:1.5 Total:49-53 Pros: 1.Higher base 2. Better hikes Cons: 1. Not product based company 2. Hyderabad location 3. Since i am coming from MS my unvested stocks will vest with the same schedule. Vesting would be 30 30 20 20 Tc 1st year: 66 2nd year: 61 3rd year: 53 4th year: 53 So I’ll probable leave for google after 1.5-2 yrs. Also expecting an offer from Rubrik for 70-75 tc. In process with Rubrik/Google also. Will most likely get an offer. Would choose Li over rubrik due to wlb. But what about G vs Li. At best G will give 55-60 for L3. That too with overloaded stocks. I was thinking choose Li now and then join G as L4 after 1.5 yrs. Any suggestions? Also by the time i get G offer, i would have joined Li. So will have to burn bridges with Li. Offer is for SWE.

HR said my interview perf was strong that’s why we are offering this much(58). This is top of band. But I told HR ‘ I need more stocks. And can you please talk to HM cuz I vibed with him pretty well’

I think Li somehow gave him a lot of stocks which usually sse get there. This is the magic of ds algo based mug up interviews and multiple offers. Nicely played by OP.
