I am considering multiple (manager and L6 eng) roles at #linkedin and I could use your help: - is L6 = linkedin senior staff in term of responsibility as levels.fyi says? - for comps, I see 8-12 yoe with 600k-670k range. Is it the norm or outliers? - there is no data for the manager track, is the comp the same as IC eng? - any org/teams to stay away from? I would go for either data eng (for ML) or frontend - how is WLB? Chill as Microsoft? - refresher? How does the company future look like? - any public big tech that are strictly > than linkedin (e.g. google might have better wlb/rep but worse pay, fb better comp but worse wlb) - do they keep the offer for 1 year if I can't join immediately? - others pros/cons to join or avoid linkedin?
