Linkedin professional headshot in the Seattle area?

My daughter is a college student, anyone here knows a good studio in the Seattle area to take professional headshots ? Some studios charge few hundred dollars which is a hefty price for a student.

You can help her take a good picture. Why does it have to be one of those professional studio photos that real estate agents like to take?

iPhone 13/14 pro. Portrait mode, white/black/grey background. Lighting facing the face. Tap on Studio light option. Settings-camera. Play with below options.

You came to the right place. Blind does two things well: 1. A place for people to complain about their jobs 2. A place to ask about professional photographers. If not for blind, my daughter's Quinceañera would have been a disaster.

Either way, it's all dealing with other people's shit.

Just take a nice iPhone photo and use that. Seriously. I don’t think any recruiters out there (at least those I know personally) even look at the photo. Instead it’s the content of the experience. For a college student, that’s course study, internships, projects, etc. That effort matters more than a nice photo.

Ok, please don’t comment if you have no recommendations. I know iPhone can do that.

Gimme a DM. I’m sure your daughter and I can come to an agreement.

If she's a college student, have her ask around on campus? There's usually hobby / photography students around and willing to take some portraits for cheap, especially for another student. Plus you can take the photos on campus which imo looks better than your typical drab studio background. Source: took photos for friends and friends took photos for me, current LinkedIn headshot is still from college and works fine
