Let me start: Roku, forcing rto in Feb 2022, and constantly send out emails to remind us of rto in Feb Feel free to add companies to the list. I heard bloomberg is also bad. Amazon is org dependent. FB has defer rto program where you can choose to wfh until July 2022 for now.
Start your own wfh company. Everyone else wants to go back to work.
Adobe has been constantly mentioning it. Almost impossible to get WFH approved. Planning to quit once they RTO.
Wayfair
Broadcom
Cognizant April 2022
This is as important a thread as the one listing pro remote companies. Also, +1 to banks being very keen on RTO.
Best to know your choices. Really it should be the same thread, with 3 columns: forced RTO, optional RTO, and WFH forever.
Whatβs the thread for best remote companies?
Roblox dropping the hammer for RTO Jan 4, right after holiday travel...
Qualcomm too
Bloomberg has no cohesive plan and no firm-wide communication. Until ~Dec 15, Engineering was targeting 3/5 days on office but lots of teams giving out exceptions. Most non-Eng have been in office since summer. W/ Omicron it seems like ~ 80% of Eng and 20% of other teams have reinstated WFH for a little whileβ¦. Weβll see how that goes with the last of the banks finally going remote again.
Yeah Bloomberg has been a real boomer about remote just like most banks. Hope you get to stay remote longer if that's what you want.
All banking firms. Jpmc , Goldman Sachs have been pushing very hard and already made all employees to show up at office locations since July. Will be full rtto starting from Feb2022.
So many people have left and will continue after bonuses
