What are the perks of a level 6 within Lockheed? 20+ years of experience in contracts. Position goes up to 244k. Is asking for 195k too high based out of Denver? #lockheed
What are the relocation incentives for L6s? Any RDUs?
Relocation packages are determined by the hiring manager and HR on a position by position basis. Some offer no relocation. Some provide a fixed dollar payout. Some cover your costs. RSUs are not typical for L6. Some critical skills/exceptionally high performers will receive them (<1% of top performers) but generally not when you are hired on. These types of incentives are more common at Director level and above (L7+)
Are there many opportunities for promotion?
At L6 you are nearing top of the food chain. There are Director and VP level positions, but they are few and far between and you need to play the politics of the organization to get consideration. In supply chain, I would expect at a large site there would be at most 2-3 directors and 1 VP, and possibly less than that.
Sounds about right - they may push back some, but you are in a realistic ballpark. L6 = 11% target bonus. High performance gets you 17.6% bonus You also should be entitled to an office, not a cubical. Other benefits/perks are the same as the rest of the employee population.
