Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
☝️ I asked for L5, but they are not budging on it. Current TC - $185k Yoe - 8.75
You don't apply to LM if you are looking for TC. You apply for the 4-10 schedule and fat 401k
Still, I think i will be okay with a lateral move. But definitely not looking for a pay cut. So trying to get an idea if i can get atleast what I’m making right now.
How much do they contribute in 401k ?
I left as an L5 in 2018 and my salary was about $187k. 14 YEars there. You can negotiate but they like to keep you below the median so you can get a decent raise. The hiring manager has to work with HR to increase. Sign on bonuses are rare.
Expectations should be low. Easy work life balance. Theyre obnoxiously stingy with l5 offers but u can shoot for other internal job posts if u decide to join
They are not willing to give L5 level at this time. Will be extending an offer at L4 level. Do you think it is going to be even less than my current TC ?
I think software is around 185 for l4. Your expectations should be lower
