So I got offered a role finally with Lockheed Martin for a LV2 ISSO Role with a salary of 90k. I asked the recruiter to see if they can raise it to 100k since the role tops out at 125k, but he completely ignored me and didn’t respond to my request. How can I proceed with offer negotiations? #joboffer
OR a compelling argument, I told them why I would want them to bump up the salary.
You have to email them with a reason for why you want them to raise the offer. I used inflation for mines a year ago
Reach out to the hiring manager. Tell them recruiting is not responding to your replies. I had to do this. The HM was as upset as I was and got things moving
Are you ok with them rescinding if you ask for more ? If you won’t ever consider working at 90k, go ahead and push. If you’d rather have a 90k job, then don’t push anymore. Know what your plan is and act accordingly- only you can know your limit
Hope you get in the group that knows about UFO's and antigravity tech, that would be cool:)
LM typically leaves room to go higher since negotiations are expected. They might not be able do 10% higher though, it’ll depend on how badly they need people.
Balls not exactly in our court right now. You need a competing offer to be making demands like that
You don’t know what youre talking about. You’re not from Lockheed. Keep pushing them until they give you a firm answer. Lockheed is hiring a lot and there’s room for more people and more pay.
