Yes..I failed H1B and hired from India. I think Indian tech scene in Bangalore/Hyderabad is superior than London...ofcourse if you want to try fintech then that's a different ballgame

It's still great for career development. There are plenty of companies to choose from. FB creates hundreds of new roles now. Others like Amazon, Google, Bloomberg, Microsoft are present and hiring too. There are also multiple startups doing all kinds of work. If you ever consider shifting to finance, you'll find a bunch of solid opportunities in London too. One thing is, before you join any company, make sure their London teams do interesting work and not just maintenance for the Bay.
What kinda of roles is MS hiring for? And what’s the typical TC for different levels? Any insights?
Check out Microsoft Careers page, they are growing and I'm afraid I'm not up to date. Unfortunately I don't know much about TC range for different levels (at MS), I'm sorry
