Hi, I'm a newgrad in Arizona looking to land a software engineering job in finance! I've been told that it helps to have a referral so I was curious if anyone would be willing to refer me to a software engineering position at Capital One?
Go to their careers page and apply to their jobs/programs for new grads. They don't really care about referral at this level because they get a lot of the talent in through their campus recruitment strategy
It might still help, albeit only a little
Campus doesn't do direct referrals. They get ignored. You can refer, but it means nothing
Dm me your email and name
Sorry to interrupt, can I dm you too? I am in a similar position. Thanks!
Hey guys, thanks for the interest, but someone managed to get me a referral! That said it sounds like it may not mean much, given the other comment, but I appreciate all the input!
Referral means professional hire and Capital One doesn’t hire Junior Dev outside of campus hire. Like others had commented, go to capital one website and apply there.
Apply for TDP program. Thats the only way new grads are hired. Basically all TDPs are recent grads.

For new grads Capital One has a college recruitment program, not sure if one can apply to be a part of that program directly, worth finding out. Although, I doubt if a direct referral helps for new grads though. As a hiring manager, I was never allowed to hire new grads directly, they always come through the internal new grad program.
