Current startup I am working at has got me working nights and weekends and insane hours— I’m at the brink. The lack of experience in the executive team around SWE, SDLC, and the ability to launch a product at an enterprise level and scale is too apparent. I have been here about 4 months. It does not seem the proper experience to launch a successful tech company exists at the top, which is a shame because there is a lot of interest in the space and product market fit. About me: - SWE for 3 years - turned TPM - now currently a Sr. PM driving more products at the same time than any other PMs on the team *I really don’t care about a title- more concerned with the WLB and TC sweet spot, as well as a good team and team dynamics, manager, and at least somewhat interesting work *prevalent gif and meme culture preferred Relevant backgrounds: - fintech mostly - lending, servicing, crypto, exchanges - onboarding platforms - growth, marketing, email, comms, CRMs - eCommerce and brick/mortar retail - SaaS and moving technology - was 13th engineer at fintech startup that went from stealth to launch to unicorn valuation in a little over a year #pm #product #productmanager #productmanagement Current TC: $220k base 10-17% annual bonus 18k options 200k token grant Fully remote Laughably high health insurance premiums Bad limited PTO policy
DM me for Indeed, great WLB 🙂
DM for Autodesk
Stop working so much
If I didn’t “own” the products that are all critical for launch… with deadlines to regulatory bodies that are hard dates — I definitely would. This company has pushed these dates so many times they cannot do it any longer. That was happening prior to my arrival.
