Currently seeking new grad SWE roles (starting May 2024) in the US. No luck getting shortlisted after applying. It is ATS-friendly & the blue boxes in the image are hyperlinks. Added extra skills just to get past the automatic initial skill set/keywords screening (though I'm familiar with every skill mentioned, but got no project to back it up). Would appreciate genuine feedback, thanks. My profile in brief: Fresher i.e. no prior full-time experience, only internships/part-time jobs in India & US; Master's degree student graduating in May 2024 #resumereview #resume #jobs
It’s not you, it’s the market. Limited fresher roles and preference given to candidates who don’t need immigration support.
Pray that people vote Biden out of office so that job market returns to normal.
Nitpick point- American English generally wouldn’t use doubts in this way. I’d replace it with issues/questions/clarifications, and then “took doubt sessions” with “hosted office hours to do x, y, z”
Thanks for the tip!
I would put internships above student assistant experience. Also I got tired of LinkedIn so I made a new grad job aggregator: cscareers.lol
Thanks for the suggestion!
Looks good. Also, Try autoapplypro. I got few calls after that.
DM for SAP and anyone else for a referral!
Took a glance, no major red flags. Nothing exciting as well.
Any quick suggestions on how I can make it exciting?
