Modi is BJP's biggest liability now
Figure now’s as good a time as ever. Personal Background: I’m a 20+ year tech industry veteran. Currently in an SLT role (security domain) at a large enterprise. Prior experience as a Product Manager and TPM in big and startup tech. Also former Gartner Analyst, Head of IT, Consultant, etc. Product History: Back in 2017 I built a web app to solve a relatively simple yet frustrating problem I commonly experienced while running IT & Cyber Ops for a large organization. While it worked well for my very specific scenario, I quickly realized it’s potential applicability was far beyond the initial scope. So I began building out the product vision and ultimately came away with a consumer-targeted productivity platform. Over the next few years, I would occasionally work on features while tweaking the look and feel. This had been a 100% bootstrapped effort up until this point, and I was originally looking to launch an MVP in 2019. However that was paused due to limited time, with many major life events occurring over the next 3 years. So I’m just now in a position to revive this effort. But to clarify, I’m not a developer, not really. My background is in Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure/Enterprise Architecture, etc. Clearly I learned enough over the years to cobble something together that somewhat functions and looks decent. But I don’t have the time or the skill set these days to bring it to MVP. Product Current State: Old version of the app built in Meteor 1.8 with React, Node, and MongoDB. Deployed to cloud DevOps (meteor galaxy). Product name, logo, domains, landing page completed. But many outdated modules in webapp, and too difficult to upgrade dependencies to implement final MVP features and keep things working. Started rebuilding the app from the ground up in meteor 2.x. What am I looking for: Per the title, a developer who wants to be a technical co-founder. The app is 80-90% of the way developed, and there are maybe 4-5 functions/features that need to be implemented. The challenge as stated above is that the app likely needs to be reconstructed in the updated codebase to efficiently progress. Otherwise the product vision is complete along with a monetization strategy, and solid connections for potential future investment $. But again, this is a bootstrapped effort and I’d like to keep it that way for now. Which means this is an equity based engagement. I am not interested in pay for development, as I have tried that in the past with very poor results. I need someone who understands the vision, wants to explore the art of the possible, but also has the means to work on this type of project. What that means is, if you are poor and need to make a quick buck this will not work. It’s more likely going to be someone who has a cushy job and some time for a side project. It’s going to be very flexible, and should not be a significant time investment (maybe a couple hours per week or month). I would like to move fast (and fail fast) as I also don’t intend to have this drag on for years. With the right partner, I’m confident we can launch this year and have a very fast feedback loop on product viability. With all that said, comment with questions, feedback, etc. and DM with interest. There’s no pressure or commitment in having an exploratory conversation on both ends to determine fit. Thanks for reading.
I would pass. Reason: doesn’t seem like you validated the market. Also didn’t share the idea
I validated the market some time ago, and purposefully obscured product specifics. If you want more details - DM. Full details - NDA.
Post too long for y’all?
