Looking for a Swift tutor

#tech #swift #investment Hi everyone, new to Blind. What I'm looking for: A Swift tutor. Ideally you program Swift on a daily basis. My questions will probably be dumb from your PoV, but that is essential. Tried lone-wolf learning but didn't end up well. I'm one of those "false beginners". Goal: I like Swift and plan to build a simple app in 1 year, like a note-taking app. That is probably way too slow for most of you on this board, but since I have a very busy full time job that is a very realistic goal for me, even a stretch? . I offer the following "pay": If you are interested in learning Mandarin (to chat up the cute female programmer grabbing that gelato cioccolato in Menlo Park cafe or hit up that handsome boy watching a typical Hollywood movie) or in finance & investment. I also run a podcast, although most of it is in Mandarin with English episodes coming up. Me: I'm an investment banker working in the China/HK market. Spent most of my adult life in the U.S. (at least so far) and came back to my home area amid COVID-19. Math + Econ double major in college. Love literature. Not a huge fan of Charles Dickens though. He makes me depressed. Communication: I think video call is the best way. If you feel like helping but you are also shy, don't worry. Not all investment bankers are slick bastards. Format of Tutoring: Feel free to lmk what format you want me to tutor you on either Mandarin or finance or economics. I will probably send a project with a bug. The bug takes you 10 minutes and me 4 hours. I follow Paul Hudson's Hacking with Swift. I've actually completed ~10 projects before, but I stopped for a while. Now, after a year, I want to pick it up again because the thought of building an app just doesn't go away. Time Zone: I understand this could be a problem, but let's think about how to work this out, if the interest is mutual. Why I don't do this in Beijing or Hong Kong: I posted but not many people reached out.

Um I’m confused, where is OP based in? If Hong Kong, but you mentioned being able to meet at Menlo Park Cafe? I’m also confused by your gender but gut feeling tells me you are a female… And where did you post your request before Blind? I dunno Swift, you could probably learn it from online, like Coursera. If your end goal is to build a mobile app as a non coder, I would suggest looking into Bubble or Adalo. Personally I prefer Adalo.
