Looking for a Taiwanese cousin to save Intel
Lisa Su & Jensen are cousins running AMD and Nvidia with great success. Although they are cousins from maternal side of Jensen, not close as both grew up in the USA separately. They're something like cousins once removed. You'd expect about 1/16 of chromosomes to be shared. My guess is if you picked out two Taiwanese with graduate degrees they'd have a similar never of genetic similarity to each other. Maybe a hair less.

Intel hasn't released a major new architecture in 3 years. AMD is still competitive and zen 5 is coming soon. Also Zen 4c, while not a major new design, is pretty cheap to make relative to performance

Uncle Sam can't beat Social media lovers, gamers and high end need of everyday customers. Uncle Sam gives money very diligently unless it is a war for another country. The margin is not high.
