Both Uber and Lyft announced Q4 2022 results and Uber is the absolute winner in the ride share market, and it seems a matter of time that Lyft is either out of business. Congrats Uber! However though, is it good for us? I don't feel good that there is only one ride share company so that one player controls everything such as pricing and quality of service etc. Should I start using Lyft once in a while to keep Lyft survive? To Lyft CEO & CFO how come you guys are still keeping your jobs even after the disastrous results? You should be the ones that should be laid off right away and don't even think about further layoff unless you guys fire yourselves first. #uber #lyft

Uber driver for Apple home delivery. Tried to enter my home. Good thing the door was locked and when I called him on it, he got an attitude and left with my phone AFTER I signed for my delivery. If you wanna be treated like royalty, get a skilled job.
Uber’s ride share is a flop, Uber eats is thriving !
No Government/country likes a monopolistic business specially in controversial business space. So Lyft's survival is crucial for Uber's success.
Then why you guys are killing it?

The 2 services are not equivalent for example Uber charges a lot more for scheduled rides than Lyft. It's always wise to check both apps as they offer different prices and driver availability.
It’s same set of drivers most of them time. Reducing price at rider side would mean reducing driver pay, which usually leads to longer ETA or no driver matched at all. Or Lyft can provide incentives to driver to fill the gap, which is likely what they were doing and resulting big loss in Q4.
For example, a scheduled Lyft ride to my nearest airport is $15 less than a scheduled Uber ride same time and date.
Lyft needs better marketing because everyone says they want to get an “Uber” instead of a “Lyft”
