You have to grind even to master the day trading. Start with small bets and develop a system that makes consistent profits. Don’t go big until then. Start with 5k account. Pretty sure you will blow it. When you are able to make 5k to 10k then go big. Source: My experience
How do you develop said system
So if you are trading there should be something you would base your trades on. Some use various types of technical indicators, some use momentum, others just buy dip when there is a fire sale in the market. I personally use technical indicators and momentum such as upgrades/downgrades, major financial news. You try different things and decide which works best for you. By the time you become professional you would blew couple of accounts. So it’s just like leetcoding. Practice and practice until you identify the patterns. Then use those patterns to hit jackpot. It also helps if you have frenz or a mentor who knows trading.
What was the total investment? If you invested $200k and lost $10k, that's 5% which is disgestable in terms of % but certainly the dollar value is high. I am sure you will recover. Just a matter of time.
