Hi helpful folks, So here is my situation: I just received an offer from Google for a UXE. I am psyched, but the numbers are way too low I think. Regarding the interviews, I didn't bomb the technical ones. Rest interviews went well. Also, I was told by the HR that it's a borderline case and hence L3 Experience: 5 Years Offered Level: L3 Base: ~15L INR Equity: ~12.5L INR PS: I am currently earning 30L+ base at a startup. A few questions: + What's the salary range for an L3 in India? + Will the HR negotiate considering I don't have any competing offers? + How is the Google Bangalore office in terms of projects and work at UXE? + My current work isn't bad at all. Does it make sense to leave at 50% pay cut? + If I perform really well, how much time will it take to get to L4?
Can anybody help with the questions? Posting them again for reference: 1. What's the salary range for an L3 in India? 2. Will the HR negotiate considering I don't have any competing offers? 3. How is the Google Bangalore office in terms of projects and work at UXE? 4. My current work isn't bad at all. Does it make sense to leave at 50% pay cut? 5. If I perform really well, how much time will it take to get to L4?
Anyone??
What did you do? Also, how is the UX engineer role different from the SWE frontend role at Google?
