Toxic team any options ?
Feels like I joined a toxic team where everyone is constantly trying to one up another or claim credit for the smallest bit of work. I talked to my new joinee mentor and they said it's pretty recent change and they are aware of it. Should I bring this up to EM during our syncs ? Would like a team where ppl are genuinely helping instead of trying to take credit for very idiotic things like updating wikis or pointing out bad coding practices from others in team channel, which should have been done in PR anyways. Talk to your boss about it. I advise to keep calm and wait. Changing your job will not help you (great risk to be worse or same). People are just freaking out due to PIPs and layoffs and this is a completely normal behaviour… be patient and wait… it will pass at some point.
You are being paid far too much. Find another job elsewhere and take the TC cut.

I think this is the effect of tech industry layoffs and PIPzilla happening everywhere. The workers stabing each other’s backs everywhere to stay safe for a paycheck while the billionaire overlords enjoy their enormous wealth and power.
