How’s the Seattle office? What perks do you get? Is it in any way worse working at a secondary branch instead of SF? Looking at the iOS openings right now, and considering applying!
If you’re looking for Uber iOS roles in SF, message me
Seattle office is great. We have basically all the same perks as SF, but a smaller environment. Makes for a more intimate office where you can know most people and certainly recognize all. In terms of it being remote, about 20% of all engineering is in Seattle. That's a pretty sizable percentage. Some teams are all here. Those who want or need to travel to SF can with no issues. It means that it isn't a second class office though sometimes you have to remind people :)
Seattle catering is far better than SF.
For someone that might intern there, which team would you recommend out of the Core Driver / Infrastructure teams? I read the descriptions on job postings but would appreciate more info
